Supporting Rural Communities with State Energy Efficiency Policy

State energy efficiency policies are a key tool for delivering energy savings to rural communities across the country. State regulators and policymakers are using a variety of policies – such as energy efficiency resource standards and performance incentives – to support rural residents, businesses, institutions, and farms. In a new report, ACEEE will highlight the policies that several states are using to deliver the benefits of energy efficiency to rural community members.
Policy professionals from Vermont, Oregon, and Colorado will join report author Mary Shoemaker in a webinar to discuss energy efficiency policies and programs they are using to serve rural populations.
